Low Carbohydrate Diet Basics

Low carbohydrate diets are based on the theory that eating large amounts of carbohydrates causes your body to produce, and store large amounts of body fat. This is the opposite of the new Food Pyramid embraced by the FDA and most nutritionists.

When following a low carbohydrate diet you eat high protein foods and a limited group of low carbohydrate vegetables and fruits.

Even if you are not following a low carbohydrate diet drinking large amounts of water is very good for you. It helps your skin, it helps you feel better, it keeps you from drying out. Water can help you to feel full.

If you don't like water, you may want to mix a very tiny amount of JAJA Stevioside into it to make it more palatable. And it can help fight off that "Sweet tooth attack.
